CiaoNovel Write is free for manual writing. Many AI features — writing paragraphs with suggestions on how to continue, gamebooks and reworking your diary — can be tried for free with 10 AI credits. To keep using them, and to complete an imported manuscript with AI, write sequels and prequels, and analyze or translate a novel, you need the Premium subscription, at {{PREZZO}} a month.

What the free tier always includes:

Manual novel writing, with no limits and no subscription required.
Importing a manuscript already written elsewhere.
Reading the free books published on CiaoNovel Read. Buying and reading books purchased on CiaoNovel Read.
10 free trial credits, to try AI-assisted writing without subscribing. Trial credits are given only once: a new account opened with a device or an email address that has already received them does not get them.

What every Premium subscription includes (TramaEngine Premium and BYOK Premium):

AI-assisted writing one paragraph at a time: the story built from your plot (direction, characters, places, secrets), three openings to choose from and three alternatives after every paragraph.
AI-assisted completion of an imported manuscript, sequels and prequels.
Publishing your novels on CiaoNovel Read, for free or for a fee.
Publishing your gamebooks on CiaoNovel Read, for free or for a fee, once the story has reached its ending.
Novels you’ve already published stay on sale even after your subscription expires, until you withdraw them yourself.
Automatic monthly renewal: you can cancel at any time from your personal area, keeping access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.

TramaEngine Premium ({{PREZZO}}/month): the AI is provided by CiaoNovel, with 300 credits a month. Only this subscription also includes the analyses of your novel’s structure, style and consistency.

BYOK Premium ({{PREZZO_CHIAVE}}/month): you use your own OpenRouter key and model instead of CiaoNovel’s TramaEngine engine and credits: you pay OpenRouter directly for AI costs and no monthly credits are used. 10 publication checks a month, run by CiaoNovel, are included. If you activate your key during a TramaEngine Premium subscription, you can turn it off until renewal and get your credits back; after a renewal with the key, or if you subscribed with the key from the start, going back to TramaEngine Premium requires a new full-price subscription. Your key is never stored on our servers. The first month of BYOK Premium is free, once per account, per card and per device: you enter your card right away and, unless you turn off renewal before the free month ends, the first charge happens when it expires.

Refund of the first charge within 14 days

The first charge of the subscription is 100% refundable within 14 days, regardless of usage; renewals are refundable within 7 days of the charge, only if you have used no more than 5 credits in the current cycle. Each customer can obtain at most 2 refunds. You can turn off renewal at any time from your account area. For details, see our Refund Policy. With BYOK Premium, where you use your own key and consume no credits, a renewal is refundable within 7 days with no other conditions. The limit applies per person: refunds obtained with the same email (even from a deleted account) or with the same card also count.
