No. Everything you create on CiaoNovel stays yours and is never used to train AI models.
Yes, with “Multi-author writing”: share a link, and whoever receives it can follow the novel live, vote on the options for how it continues, and chat with you, until you end the session. Copyright in the novel stays with you, as the main user who started it with your own account: the other participants don’t write any of the text, they give advice in the chat and vote on the proposals, but you always choose how the story continues, even differently from how they voted. Or with “Two-Player Game” (+ menu): the two of you create the novel together, both approving every initial choice, then write it taking turns, one to three paragraphs each. In this case the novel belongs to both of you: the copyright belongs to both players.
From the novel’s editor you’ll find the option to publish it, for free or for a price. If you choose to sell it, you connect your own Stripe account (if you don’t have one, you create it during the process): that’s where you receive your sales proceeds, minus a small 10% platform fee, at the beginning of the month following each sale.
Every Premium subscriber receives 300 AI credits a month, automatically refreshed on every billing cycle — more than enough to write every day. A whole novel usually only needs a fraction of the monthly total, so you can write worry-free without ever watching the credit count.
Because on CiaoNovel the AI writes without filters designed for younger people, and on CiaoNovel Read works for an adult audience can also be published and read: since we can’t guarantee content suitable for minors, the service is for adults only. A false declaration violates the Terms of Use.
Up to 2 new titles every 7 days, free or paid. New editions and republications of a work already released don’t count.
Only you and the people in the chat. Messages are encrypted in your browser before they are sent and can only be decrypted on the recipients’ devices: not even CiaoNovel can read them. The server keeps an encrypted message only until it has been delivered, then deletes it.
Nobody can message you unless you have given them your code. If you gave it to the wrong person, you can regenerate it: the old one stops working immediately. You can also block anyone who bothers you.
Your history stays only on the device you use: if you switch browser or clear its data, old messages cannot be recovered, not even by us.
